Movies to fuel your imagination
Below is the list of movies that really change perspective. They are the great examples of how best our imagination can work. I haven’t put them any particular order, but just listed them.
Back to the future
I have never been able to understand the concept of time travel. Even the book brief history of time by Stephen Hawking hasn’t helped much. However this movie makes time travel absolute fun. It’s pure classic humor, a must watch!
Batman (Dark Knight) Series
Christopher Nolan is commercially most successful director and Dark Knight trilogy is the main reason. These movies are intense, thought provoking. An Incorruptible hero (Batman) is an awesome concept. The movies cover all aspects of our emotions. Love, hate, hope, despair, greed, determination.
Star Wars
A movie series that fueled the imagination of a generation. Star war movies inspired research into space & technology. The make of this series is a legendary tale. If you wish to know what creativity is then watch star wars from beginning to end.
Harry Potter
In a way my generation grew up with Harry Potter. The book is very close to our heart. For a moment I would dream of escaping into the new world of endless possibilities and magic. The movie series is lovely. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is an amazing watch.
Jurassic Park
Science proved that the giant dinosaurs did exist on the planet and perished due to some reason. Some guy thought hmm what would have been a world like if dinosaurs did exist, and we have to live with them. I bet you if you haven’t seen the movie – you won’t be able to imagine even 0.01% of what’s shown in the movie. The series is phenomenal.
X-men
One movie where mutation becomes interesting. Guys with special powers. Clashing ideologies. A scared government. X-men is all about style. The concept is awesome and you will enjoy every part. You just can’t miss wolverine.
Matrix
One movie I never stop talking about. The theme is open to wide array of interpretation. Just like in matrix our minds are conditioned, the moment we realize this we are on a road to freedom. The movie has lot to teach. More so there are awesome fight sequences, cool sunglasses, martial arts. Beautiful blend of art and science.
Indiana Jones
For those interested in mythology, occult, archeology, history and a hero-villain story this is a must watch series. Harrison ford makes full justice to the demanding role. The movie series is full of surprise, humor and interesting things.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Nothing to be said here. Jack sparrow simply rocks. To think on such a imaginative scale the director must have really visited a madhouse. The movie series is biggest ambassador of unconventionalism. It’s an absolutely new world, a world never imagined.
Transformers
Cars turning into Robots, I mean even if you can imagine this stuff. How do you show it. The fight sequences in transformers are unbelievably detailed. Makes me wonder, how do these animators keep track of what component of these machines should move at what time when the super fast fights begin.
Lord of the Rings
Kept the best one for the last. Goblins, dwarves, A wizard, hobbits, kings, sorcerers, elves lord of the rings is an inspired creation. The details are awesome. The Middle Earth concept seems so real. Beautiful, breath taking landscapes. Perfect fight sequences. There is enough in the series to keep you interested for eternity.
